In November 2008 the Pelamis machines were brought back to harbor at Leixões due to a technical problem with some of the bearings for which a solution has been found. It would be good to get some verification of this statement Makerwaveguy (talk) 09:12, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Does this make sense

[edit]

"The Aguçadoura Wave Farm was the world's first attempt at an experimental wave farm". While the wave farm was generally accepted as experimental it was promoted by Pelamis Wave Power as being a commercial project. I suggest leaving the word commercial in the text? Yes that seems ok to me... Feel free to change yourself, I'll keep an eye. Rehman 11:23, 22 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would suggest this is a fairer description - "The Aguçadoura Wave Farm was the world's first wave farm". This avoides the use of either "commercial or experimental" both of which could cause debate and the word "attempt" which would mean that either it was never built or it wasn't the first.
